Cool elevator photo. One of your Grandfather's projects? Also, what's up with the trackside gas pump? No hoses on it, so one would assume non-functional, but from the location it looks like it could be for -- what, locomotive fueling??

Good question! I'll bet this gas station went out of business when so many of them were required to replace their underground tanks. It seems strange for it to be so close to the track, but it was probably part of the coop.
